Ballina is spoilt for choice when it comes to great coffee and delicious food. So if you’re ready for your 2017 Ballina holiday, why not check out some of these fabulous cafes and coffee shops.
Ballina Gallery Cafe
This centrally located cafe is popular with both locals and visitors. Sit inside or enjoy the beautiful outdoor setting. There are umbrellas for shade or spectacular Norfolk Pine trees and gardens. Service is efficient and friendly and the coffee is to die for. Popular dishes include the buckwheat pancake stack, pulled pork burger and the gallery caesar salad. Adjusting dishes to suit dietary requirements is never a problem for the staff . View full menus for breakfast, lunch, canape and functions here.
The Belle General
Consistently good coffee, an exciting gluten free menu and friendly service are what makes this place one of the most popular in Ballina. If you like a warm welcome, you’ll love The Belle General. The enthusiastic staff go out of their way to make sure their customers are served promptly and understand the menu. The menu is focussed on local, seasonal and ethically sourced produce with many whole foods and health conscious options. Meals are designed to satisfy you so you leave feeling light, but not stuffed! View the menu here.
The Bean Bank Coffee House
Located between two banks (hence the name!), The Bean Bank Coffee House keeps it simple with great coffee and friendly service. We’ve heard some of our guests say that the coffee from here is some of the best they’ve ever had (even those from Melbourne!) and we would have to agree with this assessment! Meals are a good size, well priced and very tasty. We recommend the smoked salmon bagel And the best bit? If you’ve booked your ballina accommodation at Ballina Heritage Inn, you only have to walk 7 minutes to enjoy fabulous coffee!
